Monster At Mercy,,,
I strive towards the future, in search of a saviour
the one thing i must change is my own bad behaviour.
The monster in the mirror; looking back at me,
is not the person i want society to see.
All of my good times were nothing but a lie,
on my road to self-destruction, i was willing to die.
I cannot exchange all the mistakes that ive made,
for the damage is done, and my bed has been made.
Ive been through the hell, ive been through the fire,
what is important to me now, my sobriety i desire.
Now I must face my own demons; change for myself, family, and friends,
which now i am challenged with,, in making amends.
I pray for their forgiveness, at the end of my mercy,
I will conquer my demons, in my fight to be free.
I will prove to myself, and everyone i know,
That my life is a new game, and im in charge of the show!!!
